DATART is the Retailer of the Year in Electronics

Our brand DATART has won another prestigious award. In the Mastercard Retailer of the Year 2021 competition, we dominated the electrical and electronics category. The results of the 19th year of the competition were announced on February 17th, 2022. DATART succeeded mainly due to its market position, brand awareness and high level of customer loyalty.

“Building customer trust is absolutely key for us, which is why we are very pleased that customers choose us. We want them to be satisfied and happy to return and to know that DATART, as an electronics expert, will always be there to advise them. We continually strive to offer better services and support, both during the purchase and of course, after”, said Lenka Mastešová, Marketing Director of DATART.

“The DATART brand won the Electronics Dealer of the Year category mainly due to the fact that it scored highly in brand memorability – it was spontaneously named by 54 percent of respondents who buy in this category. Customers also declare a high degree of loyalty to the DATART brand. 42 percent of customers choose DATART as the main retailer they visit when buying products in the category. In terms of the overall customer confidence index, DATART, along with two other retailers who had the same score, is in first place in this section”, commented Michal Čarný, Mastercard’s General Manager for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Mastercard Retailer of the Year is a prestigious award for the best retailers in individual retail categories. The winners were selected based on a representative online survey conducted by an independent research agency, which addressed a thousand respondents aged 15-69 at the end of October 2021. Two groups of factors were considered when evaluating the results: market position factors (company memorability, customer loyalty) and customer confidence factors (willingness to recommend the store, willingness for repeat purchases, meeting consumer expectations and knowing the difference between the store and its competition).
